Safety operation procedures for electric welding machines
There are basically two kinds of electric welding machinesthat are commonly used, one is a mobile power generation electric Welding Machine, which is welded by self-power generation; One is to use an external power supply for welding. There are differences between the two types of safety Welding Machine safety operating procedures.
First, the safety operation procedures of mobile power generation Welding Machines
- Operators must wear labor protection equipment.
- Within 10m of the welding site, there shall be no flammable and explosive materials.
- The Welding Machine shall not have oil leakage or oil leakage.
- Warning signs are placed on site to prevent others from being burned or scalded.
- When moving the welding machine, the power supply should be cut off, and when there is a sudden power failure during welding, the power supply should be cut off immediately.
- The grounding wire and the handle wire shall not be placed on flammable, explosive and heat-generating items, and the insulation shall be good.
- Open-air welding is not allowed on rainy days. When working in wet areas, operators should stand in an area covered with insulating items and wear insulated shoes.
- Welding tongs should have good insulation and heat insulation capabilities.
- When removing weld slag, protective glasses should be worn, and the head should avoid the direction of knocking welding slag.
- After the operation, clean up the site, extinguish the fire, eliminate the residual heat of the weldment, cut off the power supply, lock the gate box, and then leave.
Second, the safety operation procedures of the external power supply welding machine
- The welding machine and power supply should conform to the electricity safety load, and it is forbidden to use copper and iron wire instead of fuse.
Second, the welding machine should have good grounding, and rainproof measures should be taken when used in the open air.
- The welding wire should be installed firmly, and the positive and negative poles should not be installed incorrectly during installation.
- Warning signs are placed on site to prevent others from being burned or scalded.
- Welding operations are prohibited in the following places or equipment containers:
(1) Places where dangerous chemicals are produced, used and stored or other places where fireworks are strictly prohibited.
(2) The combustibles in the welding site have not been removed or safety measures have not been taken.
(3) Equipment containers filled with combustible gases and flammable liquids have not been thoroughly washed.
(4) The construction site was not cleaned up or monitored, and fire extinguishing equipment was not prepared.
- After the welding is completed, the power supply should be cut off. and conduct security checks.
